Tyler from The157store here,
I hope you are all well, happy and healthy.
It seems fairly obvious to say this, but the COVID-19 outbreak has forced us to close our Fareham store. This is in line with the social distancing measures implemented by the UK government & World Health Organisation.
Whilst this is obviously devastating for a small business like ours, we are thankful for the support and help of our loyal friends, customers, and the UK government itself.
Regarding online orders, we have had to cease this as well.
We are aware that other retailers continue to trade online, however we are a unique and small business, and our usual process of dispatching online orders would break the social distancing measures. We do not want to risk our safety or yours.
We are in the process of finding a way to re-launch our online trade - Andy & I are in contact with a plethora of organisations and potential new partners to make this happen.
As soon as we have anything concrete, we will let you know.
If you have ordered from our site since the lockdown was enforced, thank you. You will have been contacted by myself via email. Your orders WILL be fulfilled, just at a later date. This is all laid out clearly at the checkout section of our site.
In the mean time, you can continue to support us by engaging with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
We are obviously under new challenges as a business but you can help prevent the worst by continuing to follow, support, and engage with us. Tell your friends and family about us, invite them to like our page, anything helps.
We hope to be returning to some form of normality soon.
Again, I wish you all the best wishes and kind thoughts in what is a truly terrifying time for us as a business - and more importantly us all humans.
Let's beat this thing. Stay home, stay safe, and support your local businesses.
All the best,
Tyler at 157 x
