The157store is an independent menswear store based in Fareham, near Portsmouth, U.K since 2007. We aim to meet the needs of the classic man, specialising in retro styles and bringing them into the modern world once more. We are a truly independent business, run by a team of four; Andy, Tyler, Jamie & Adam (who are kept in line by the watchful eye of Helen, Andy's wife).
So, please rest assured you are merely a click away from talking to a human, not a computer. We can't offer you the endless stocks of Amazon, but we can offer you quality garments, and style you can trust.
As you may have seen, Channel 4's Mary Portas came to us in 2016, and featured us on her series; 'Secret Shopper'. In the show, which aired in January '16, Mary persisted that the store should begin to trade online. At the time, however, the business could not facilitate the physical space, staff, nor man-hours to launch a site that we could be proud of. A year later, though, we are honoured to present to the world our very own fully functioning online store!
Built and managed by Tyler (who started out as a Saturday lad/tea boy in the shop in 2013 and is now a full-timer) this site will be updated daily, so please do give us feedback or suggestions. But, please, be nice! We want this site to be as flawless as possible, just as much as you do!
If you've been in-store before, you'll know that we carry a lot of stock and styles, with new deliveries every week. New styles are uploaded onto the website as soon as possible, meaning that 99% of the time, there are new products online EVERY DAY.
