Let's talk about Pretty Green

Let's talk about Pretty Green
We know it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride. Since Liam Gallagher first launched the brand, it has changed hands a few times, and that uncertainty hasn't gone unnoticed by the loyal fans (which we consider ourselves).

We'll never forget in 2020, during lockdown, when PG called us out of the blue and said they were no longer dealing with independents. It's been downhill since then.
But there’s a new chapter, and it’s a significant one.

The brand is now in the hands of Four Marketing here in the UK. If that name sounds familiar, it should. It's the team behind the likes of CP Company and recently Stone Island. They understand quality and what makes a brand tick.

The result? The ranges are now a proper return to form. We're seeing higher quality fabrics, better value, and designs that feel true to the musical origins that made the brand explode in the first place.

It's the Pretty Green we all wanted, finally done right.

Yes, you'll see PG in Sports Direct. But that rubbish is totally different. Different factory, cheaper materials, different fit. Mike Ashley may own the license, but he doesn't own the soul.

Try for yourself. Order a Gillespie Tee from an indie like us, then buy one in Sports Direct. You'll see the difference in quality, fit, and finish. (The big circular logos are laughably bad on the Sports Direct stock).

The original design teams, now bolstered by Four Marketing, are creating high quality garments that carry the message just as it used to. Premium factories, authentic design. It is these items that you'll see indies like us stocking, and on the main PG website.
It is now up to the people to decide with their wallets. In our opinion, PG is a sleeping giant of premium menswear, currently shackled by Frasers Group. If the people make their voices heard, and shop with indies or direct-to-brand, eventually it will break free and roar to the top again.

If you’ve been on the fence, now is the time to come back.
The new collection is in the shop and online now.
